Data Portability

As I try to work out how to express myself online, to make myself machine readable, to begin to post requests, I am seeking the emerging standards in the industry.

In his blog, Cubic Garden, Ian Forrester has a posting where he discusses linking APML, FOAF and OpenID - Lightweight Attention Preference Markup

FOAF is the other standard that I want to explore in more detail. And finally, Robin Good provides a pretty good description of APML in his article Attention Profiling: APML Beginner's Guide
